You can be hands on, and we’ll give you the know-how, and the tools to help you manage your super, or you may want to be hands off, in which case, we’ll provide the know-how and tools to your financial adviser to help them provide you with the financial advice and super management you need.

Our Fund

Smartsave is a corporate super fund which has provided flexible super accumulation and Group Insurance products to employers, members and their financial advisers, as well as providing pensions over the years. Smartsave offers you the choice of investing in the following divisions:

For members and employers, Smartsave provides:

  • A public offer fund with:
    • an Employer Division (Smartsave Employer Super) including an accumulation MySuper product investment option,
    • a Personal Division (Smartsave Personal Choice) with a range of investment options and access to an accumulation account,
    • a Pension Division (Smart Pensions) with five investment options, and access to account based pension and transition to retirement pension account,
  • Flexible (multi sector and single sector) investment choices, with underlying managed funds and performance underpinned by Asset Consultant ‘Mercer’, and
  • Contribution assistance from providing fund details, explaining contribution caps to processing your requests to transfer in other super via your MyGov account or directly from other super funds.
  • Comprehensive group insurance cover, rated to your occupation type, and suited to both the ‘Employer and Personal Division’, to enable you to effectively package insurance protection to suit your family arrangements, and a
  • Secure Online Portal to track and manage your super when it suits you, giving you convenience and control.

Smartsave is flexible. You can join the fund:

  • Via your employer with a Smartsave Employer Super accumulation account and contribute through your employer or
  • You or your financial adviser can open up an account directly using a Smartsave Personal Choice application form, or you can
  • You or your financial adviser can set up your pension and arrange an income stream payment to suit your retirement or pared back working lifestyle using the Smart Pensions application form.
